Mountain biking is inherently a challenging mix of man, machine and environment. The PBBA has built a new Mountain Biking Park in East Odessa that will test all three and is continually adding and improving over 9 miles of trail inside 95 acres of leased property. You must be a current member of the PBBA and helmets are required at all times when on your bike inside the Park. Please download a membership application from this website or go by Peyton’s Bikes in Midland to sign up and get more information. Also, there is a scan code at the park where you can sign up and pay at the park.
There are trails for all riders from beginner to intermediate to expert and even XX-expert. Trails are marked with traditional color schemes of green for beginner, blue for intermediate, and red and blank for expert-level. Always obey trail etiquette (rules posted on the gate) and because of our desert environment, be prepared with plenty of water and food. Also carry flat tire repair supplies and make sure your bike is tuned to hold up under trail conditions.
To experience a great day of off road riding, join our great club, and let’s go ride the park. It is open every day from sunup to sunset, but a good meeting time for your first few rides is 3:00 PM on Sunday – there will be people out there that can show you the best trails to ride. For more information check our main page contacts list or call Peyton’s Bikes at 432-699-1718.
