Successful work day at OMBP

PBBA Members,We had a very successful workday on Saturday. We had approximately 25 volunteers. Salazar Trucking brought a water truck, Tom and Ben Sorenson brought a tractor with a front end loader as well as a Mule to move supplies around and supervise the work. Warren-Cat (Thanks to Isaac Navarette) provided us with a skid steer and Jeff Wade skillfully operated the skid steer.Russell Potter donated a very nice new weed eater to the club and he put it to work for at least 4 hours. Jack Henry brought a brush mower and cleaned trails for hours and then sprayed weed killer afterwards, Mark Solari provided us with an additional brush mower. Tim Smith donated a truck load (10 cubic yards) of quality dirt to make the berms. The VIM racing team showed up in force also and would like to acknowledge there effort. We worked about 5 hours and built over 20 new berms, cleared most of the weeds, and cleaned nearly the entire trail of rocks and debris. All together we had approximately $1000 in material and equipment time donated towards the effort. The trails are in great shape again. I want to thank each and every member that helped with this effort.Sincerely,Steve MitchellPBBA Mountain Bike Director
