Mountain biking is inherently a challenging mix of man, machine and environment. PBBA has a new venue in East Odessa – we have begun developing a new MTB Park inside 95 acres of Odessa City property. Currently you must be a member of the Permian Basin Bicycle Association (who is developing the Park) before you can ride. There are about 7 miles of trails in use and more to be built as the weather moderates a little. You can download a membership application from this PBBA website or come by Peyton’s Bikes in Midland to sign up and get more information.
We plan to have trails for all riders, from beginner to expert.
Because of the desert environment, be prepared with plenty of water/food. And, as always, also be prepared with a well tuned bike and flat repair supplies.
To experience a great day of off road riding, join our great club, give me a call, and let's go ride The Park. For your first escorted ride contact Tom Elliott via phone at 432-638-2600 or call Peytons Bikes at 432-699-1718. We are hoping to organize an informal 'show and go' weekly Weekend ride(s). |
